Her work combines the storytelling she loved during 15 years in journalism with a passion for long-term strategy – and her compulsion to Google stuff. She resides in a large, ramshackle house in Pensacola, Florida with her husband Michael Dicks, a designer of eco-friendly furniture, and two daughters aged 5 and 14. She also writes the blog Talk Small for Kids, an unconventional resource for parents of children with autism spectrum and sensory integration challenges.
